How we help you
Career Skills to Work is a nonprofit organization committed to bridging the gap between education and employment. Our mission is to provide tailored career pathways, combining educational excellence with hands-on experience to prepare individuals for successful and sustainable careers.
We serve a diverse community, including high school students, military veterans, and career seekers, by leveraging strategic partnerships with leading educational providers and industry experts.
Our Approach
Career Awareness & Exploration
We begin by helping students discover their unique strengths, interests, and values. Through personalized assessments, mentoring, and interactive career exploration activities, we guide them in understanding their career options and the steps required to achieve their goals.
Preparation
Our programs are designed to ensure students are fully prepared to enter the workforce. This includes comprehensive resume building, interview preparation, and job search assistance, all tailored to meet the specific needs of each participant.
Training & Job Placement
We focus on equipping students with the essential technical skills required by today’s employers. Through apprenticeships, internships, and direct placement opportunities, we provide real-world experience that leads to sustainable careers. Our ongoing support ensures that our graduates continue to grow and succeed in their chosen fields.
Partnerships
We partner with esteemed organizations like St Michaels Learning Academy (SMLA), ITExperience, and Meridian High School to enhance our program offerings. These collaborations allow us to provide additional resources, such as specialized skills training, career workshops, and networking opportunities, that enrich the learning experience for our participants.
